Description

The PMS 250 sliding-bottom container is a technologically advanced 250-litre tank designed for use with forklifts equipped with hydraulic fork positioners. Unlike standard drop-bottom containers, this specialised solution gives the operator full control over the discharge process.

Discharge precision: Sliding-bottom system

The greatest advantage of the PMS model is its opening mechanism. The bottom of the container consists of two parts that slide apart horizontally as the operator extends the forklift forks. This allows for controlled emptying (dosing). You can stop the process at any time or regulate the flow of the discharge, which is invaluable for the precise filling of hoppers, machinery, or Big-Bag sacks.

Advanced and durable construction

The PMS 250 is an engineered structure composed of many precisely fitted elements. The entire unit is made of 3 mm thick steel plate, guaranteeing high resistance to damage. A key feature is the reinforced fork pockets – designed to resist deformation from the forces applied during the sliding motion, ensuring safety and a long service life. Despite its robust build, the container maintains a favourable tare-weight-to-payload ratio.

Ergonomics: Low profile and stacking

Thanks to its low height, the PMS 250 container is perfect for placement directly under production machinery, chip conveyors, or feeders. The upper frame is equipped with supports and corners that allow for stable and safe stacking, saving valuable warehouse space. The surface is protected with primer and polyurethane paint, creating a smooth finish that prevents corrosion and facilitates cleaning.
