Description
A Gitterbox is a transport and storage mesh container with a metal-and-wood base. It is constructed from steel profiles, wire, and wooden boards. It features a hinged flap that opens at half-height from both the bottom and the top, facilitating the loading and unloading of goods. The upper part of the container is equipped with locators designed to stabilise the cages when stacked on top of each other. The containers can be stacked in a 1+3 arrangement. The base features high feet, allowing the Gitterbox to be handled by manual pallet trucks.
The low-profile fixed Gitterbox is a heavy-duty mesh container designed for efficient storage and transport of goods while optimising loading height. Its construction features a proven combination of a rigid steel profile frame, strong wire mesh, and a solid base made of wooden boards. The wooden floor provides stable support for the inventory and increases the mechanical durability of the entire carrier, making it resistant to intensive industrial use.
Easy access and universal handling
The container stands out for its high ergonomic utility. A hinged flap is mounted on the front wall, which can be opened at half-height (from both the bottom and the top). This solution provides convenient access to the interior, significantly speeding up loading and unloading processes. A key advantage of this model is the high feet in the base. Thanks to them, the low Gitterbox can be transported not only by forklifts but also by standard manual pallet trucks, increasing logistical flexibility within the warehouse.
Safe stacking and space saving
The low profile of the container allows for better space management for smaller goods. The structure is equipped with upper locators (corners) that stabilise the cages when stacked on top of each other. This enables safe stacking in a 1+3 arrangement, allowing for maximum use of the warehouse’s cubic capacity while maintaining full stack stability.
