Description

The collapsible Gitterbox with a wooden floor is a versatile transport and storage container that combines the strength of a steel construction with the functionality of a traditional board base. Constructed from solid steel profiles and wire mesh, it ensures cargo protection while maintaining visibility of the contents. The metal-and-wood base guarantees stability and appropriate support for a variety of industrial goods. Thanks to the wall-folding function, empty containers occupy a minimum amount of space during return transport or off-season storage.

Convenient access and universal handling

The container has been designed with the efficiency of logistical processes in mind. It features a practical hinged flap on the front wall, opening at half-height (from both the bottom and the top). This solution significantly facilitates the manual loading and unloading of goods, providing ergonomic access to the interior of the cage. High feet are integrated into the base, allowing the collapsible Gitterbox to be seamlessly handled by both forklifts and standard manual pallet trucks (“pump trucks”).

Safe stacking in the warehouse

The cage design enables optimal utilisation of the warehouse’s cubic capacity. Special locators are placed on the upper part of the frame to stabilise the containers when stacked on top of each other. This allows for safe stacking in a 1+3 arrangement, saving valuable floor space while maintaining full stack stability.
