Description
Stainless Steel Hopper
The hopper, measuring 1180 mm x 1180 mm x 1840 mm, is constructed from 2 mm thick stainless steel sheet for the side walls and 3 mm for the conical section. The walls feature pressings (ribbing) that act as stiffeners, reinforcing the entire structure, imparting rigidity, and increasing resistance to mechanical deformation during filling and transport. The support legs are made from thick 6 mm sheet metal, ensuring stability and resistance to dynamic loads. The entire supporting framework is mounted on a hot-dip galvanized steel profile frame, which protects structural components from corrosion.
Full Sealing – Double-Sided Welding with Shielding Gases
The hopper is hermetically double-sided welded using specialized shielding gases (a mixture of argon and CO₂) and dedicated stainless steel welding wire. This technology eliminates weld porosity and ensures complete sealing of joints – a crucial feature for hygroscopic materials, chemicals, and food products. The welds are smooth and free from pitting.
Precise Valve with Opening Regulation
A high-quality valve with stepless opening regulation is installed at the hopper’s outlet. This allows for controlled, gradual emptying of the tank – both by gravity and with assistance. The valve prevents uncontrolled material discharge and enables precise dosing into production lines, big-bags, or intermediate containers.
Stacking Corners – 1+1 Configuration
The hopper is equipped with stacking corners, allowing for safe stacking of one unit on top of another (1+1 configuration). This significantly reduces occupied storage space and facilitates space organization within the facility. The support frame is adapted for forklift transport.
