Description
The NTK HD 300 self-tipping skip is an advanced material handling solution dedicated to companies seeking uncompromising durability. Unlike standard bins, the HD (Heavy Duty) series is engineered for harsh industrial environments such as foundries, scrap yards, machining workshops, and heavy manufacturing plants. If your forklift requires an attachment built for years of intensive service, this model is the premier choice.
Armoured Construction & Sealed Tank
The durability of this model is rooted in the use of high-grade steel. The NTK HD skip features 3mm steel plate walls, while the base—the component most exposed to stress—is reinforced with 4mm steel. This configuration ensures exceptional structural rigidity and resistance to mechanical damage.
A key advantage is the reinforced top rim. This wrap-around reinforcement prevents wall deformation even when fully loaded with heavy materials like rubble or steel scrap. Furthermore, the container is double-sided welded. This technology guarantees 100% leak-proof integrity, making it ideal for transporting not only solids but also:
-
Oily steel swarf and coolants,
-
Semi-liquid waste and sludges,
-
Wet sand or concrete.
Dual Discharge Mechanism – Ergonomics & Efficiency
To maximise forklift operator efficiency, the NTK HD offers two independent emptying systems:
-
Hands-free System (Front Pressure Plate): The fastest method. The operator lowers the mast so the pressure plate at the front of the skip presses against the edge of a larger container, releasing the lock automatically without the operator leaving the cab.
-
Manual System (Lever): For tasks requiring high precision, the operator can release the lock manually using a lever at the rear.
Thanks to the precisely balanced centre of gravity, the empty skip automatically returns to its initial position and locks securely after discharge.
Safety & Polyurethane Coating
Health & Safety is a priority in internal transport. Therefore, the self-tipping skip is equipped with a robust safety lock to prevent accidental tilting during transit. This mechanism eliminates the risk of unintentional load discharge during sudden braking or when driving over uneven ground.
The finish is also worth noting. The hopper is spray-painted with high-quality polyurethane paint. Compared to standard primers, polyurethane creates a smooth, glass-like surface. This provides:
-
Significantly higher resistance to corrosion and weather conditions.
-
Protection against the effects of oils and greases.
-
Ease of maintenance (easy-clean system) – dirt does not adhere to the smooth coating.
