Steel racks help keep delicate loads stable, separate them from the floor and organise material flow between production, storage, transport and installation. Depending on the model, they may provide a single-sided or double-sided loading surface, rubber contact protection, fork pockets, crane lifting points and load stabilising elements.

How to choose a warehouse or transport rack?

Define the material type, maximum dimensions, weight and quantity of the items. Select the configuration: A-frame and T-frame racks provide loading surfaces on both sides, while an L-frame uses one side and can be positioned closer to a wall or vehicle side. Check load rating, usable loading length and height, base width, support method, surface protection and load securing points. Also verify handling by forklift, pallet truck, overhead crane or truck-mounted crane. For road transport, determine how both the rack and the load will be restrained in the vehicle.
