Description

The NTK HD 1600 self-tipping skip is the largest and most efficient model in our Heavy Duty series. With an impressive capacity of 1,600 litres and a powerful load rating of 1,800 kg, this attachment is dedicated to enterprises generating large quantities of high-volume waste or heavy scrap. It is a solution that drastically reduces internal logistics by decreasing the frequency of forklift trips to main collection containers.

The construction of a giant – NTK HD 1600 Parameters

This model is a true heavyweight in the warehouse attachment category. The unladen weight of the skip alone is 255 kg, which is the best proof of the amount of steel used and the robustness of its craftsmanship. The hopper walls are made of 3mm steel plate, while the base is reinforced with 4mm steel to withstand the point impacts of heavy elements.

Despite its vast capacity, the skip maintains ergonomic proportions to facilitate manoeuvring. Its length is 2,190 mm, width 1,290 mm, and height 1,375 mm. A specially profiled, reinforced top edge ensures the rigidity of the entire structure, protecting it from deformation under a full load.

100% Leak-proof integrity and universal application

Similar to the smaller models in this series, the NTK HD 1600 self-tipping skip is double-sided welded. Continuous seams guarantee the total leak-proof integrity of the tank. This makes it an ideal tool for diverse tasks:

• Transporting large quantities of oily swarf (without coolant leaks),

• Managing liquid and semi-liquid waste (sludges),

• Carrying bulk materials (sand, granules, gravel),

• Storing bulky waste (cardboard, foil, long steel elements).

Dual discharge mechanism – Operational efficiency

Handling such a large container must be both safe and convenient. Therefore, we have equipped it with a proven, dual emptying system:

1. Front Pressure Plate (Automatic): Enables discharge without the need to leave the forklift cab. The operator drives the skip onto the rim of the main container, pressing the pressure plate, which releases the lock and initiates the tilt. This provides significant time savings and convenience.

2. Manual Lever (Manual): A long lever located on the rear wall allows for manual release of the lock from the operator’s position (outside the cab or through the mast). This enables precise discharge in non-standard locations.

After the load is emptied, thanks to the balanced centre of gravity, the NTK HD 1600 self-tipping skip automatically returns to a level position and snaps into the transport lock.

Durability thanks to polyurethane coating

Corrosion protection in the HD 1600 model is of the highest standard. The hopper is spray-painted with polyurethane paint. This coating is significantly harder than traditional paints and resistant to UV radiation, variable weather conditions, and chemicals (oils, greases). The smooth polyurethane surface facilitates cleaning and prevents wet waste from adhering to the walls.
