The NTK HD 2500 self-tipping skip is the largest, widest, and most capacious container in our range, designed for enterprises that refuse to compromise. Offering an impressive capacity of 2,500 litres and a load rating of 2,000 kg, this model is indispensable for handling bulky waste, lightweight high-volume scrap, and bulk materials in large production plants. Its use allows for a drastic reduction in internal logistics by decreasing the number of forklift trips to waste collection points.

What sets this model apart from smaller versions are its dimensions, adapted for working with large quantities of material. The NTK HD 2500 self-tipping skip has a width of 1,940 mm, making it an ideal solution for collecting wide waste (e.g., long slats, broken pallets, large plastic sheets). The total length is 2,190 mm, and the height is 1,375 mm.

Despite such a large volume, the construction maintains the rigidity characteristic of the Heavy Duty class. The hopper is made of 3mm steel plate, and the supporting base is reinforced with 4mm steel. The robustness is confirmed by the unladen weight of the container, which is 325 kg. The top edge features additional wrap-around reinforcement, which prevents the side walls from “bulging” under the pressure of a heavy load.

Leak-proof integrity and universal applications

Every NTK HD 2500 self-tipping skip is double-sided welded. The use of continuous welding seams guarantees 100% leak-proof integrity of the tank. As a result, despite being designed for bulky items, this container also performs excellently when transporting:

• Large quantities of oily swarf (without the risk of leaks onto the floor),

• Semi-liquid waste and industrial sludges,

• Bulk and dusty materials (sawdust, granules),

• Heavy production scrap.

Dual discharge mechanism – Ease of use

Operating such a large container requires solutions that guarantee safety and ergonomics. Therefore, this model is equipped with two independent emptying systems:

1. Front Pressure Plate (Automatic): This is a hands-free system. The operator drives the skip against the edge of the target container, pressing the pressure plate located on the front. This releases the lock and initiates the tilt. Consequently, the operator does not need to leave the forklift cab, which accelerates the work.

2. Manual Lever (Manual): In situations requiring precision or when using the pressure plate is impossible, the operator can use the lever located on the rear wall of the skip (on the mast side) to manually release the lock.

After complete emptying, thanks to precise balancing, the NTK HD 2500 self-tipping skip automatically returns to a horizontal position and snaps into the lock, ready for further operation.
