Description

The PMMC 400 self-tipping skip is a mobile 400-litre container that serves as an ideal intermediate solution between manual transport trolleys and large industrial tanks. Designed to work in a hybrid system, it enables manual manoeuvring at the workstation and safe transport of heavier loads using a forklift.

Mobility and versatility of applications

The PMMC 400 model is equipped with a robust chassis: two fixed wheels and one swivel wheel with a brake. This allows workers to easily place the skip under a machine, even in narrow aisles or hall corners where forklift access would be difficult. Once the container is filled with 400 litres of waste, it can be safely picked up and transported to the main collection container using the built-in fork pockets.

The standout feature of the PMMC series is its exceptional durability. The entire tank – not just the base, but also the side walls – is made of 3mm thick steel plate. This guarantees high resistance to impacts and deformations when transporting heavy scrap. The construction is double-sided welded, which ensures 100% leak-proof integrity. This makes the skip an excellent choice for collecting wet waste, swarf with coolant, or sludges, protecting the floor from contamination.

Ergonomics and easy maintenance

The top edge of the container is additionally reinforced, which stiffens the entire structure. The discharge mechanism is easily operated using a lock-release catch located on the rear wall. The container is coated with polyurethane paint, which creates a smooth, anti-corrosive finish. Such a surface ensures efficient emptying, and cleaning the tank of residual oils and greases takes only a moment.
