The PMDB 1000 drop-bottom container is the largest and most capacious bin in the PMDB series, offering a full 1,000 litres of loading space. It is a dedicated solution for companies that generate large volumes of waste but require a low-profile container that can be handled without involving heavy equipment – a standard manual pallet truck is sufficient.
Maximum capacity, pallet truck handling, and stacking
This model breaks the stereotypes of large containers. Despite its 1 m³ volume, the base design allows for free manoeuvring of the bin using a pallet truck (on level ground). This is invaluable in facilities where forklifts cannot access every aisle. Additionally, the PMDB 1000 is equipped with corners that enable safe stacking, allowing for the creation of vertical buffer zones and saving warehouse space. The feet are factory-adapted for wheel mounting, providing an option for full mobility.
Low profile for production machinery
The key advantage of the PMDB series is its low height combined with a large base area. Thanks to this, the 1,000-litre model fits under most conveyors and production machine outlets where standard tall containers are impractical. It also facilitates manual waste loading by employees, ensuring ergonomic working conditions.
Durability and bottom-discharge system
The bin is manufactured from steel plate with a thickness of 2-3 mm (sides) and 3 mm (base), and the fork pockets in the longer walls have been additionally reinforced. The drop-bottom system allows for the instantaneous emptying of the entire contents via a single lever located on the side of the container. The entire unit is protected with anti-corrosion paint with a smooth structure, which prevents dirt from adhering and facilitates cleaning.
