The PMDB Light 500 drop-bottom container is a modern and lightweight 500-litre bin designed with ergonomics and handling versatility in mind. Innovative design and aesthetics

The bin’s body is manufactured using a unique technology: it consists of two steel plate elements bent into a C-channel shape. Their joining points have been additionally reinforced, which not only increases the strength of the structure but also aesthetically masks the weld seams. In this model, the fork pockets are located on the longer walls just below the top edge, ensuring stability during transport and facilitating manoeuvring.

Operational ergonomics: The new lever

The PMDB Light 500 is equipped with a modernised opening system. A one-piece lever with an ergonomic handle has been implemented here. A significant change is the lower placement of the lever lock – this solution allows for easy manual opening of the bin (without the need for a pull cord from the forklift), which is particularly useful for stationary work. Closing the bottom is intuitive: by pressing the flap against the side of the collection skip or by placing the container on the ground and applying light pressure.

Logistical versatility

This container is a true master of adaptation. It can be handled in three ways: by forklifts, cranes, and manual pallet trucks. The base construction features feet with holes adapted for wheel mounting, allowing for a quick transformation into a mobile trolley. Additionally, the upper corners enable safe stacking in a 1+1 system, saving valuable warehouse space.
