The OC 1800 pallet extension is a large-scale wire mesh cage designed for the transport and storage of high-volume goods. Thanks to its impressive height, this construction allows for the maximum utilisation of the loading space of a single 1200×800 mm pallet, transforming it into a spacious and secure container. It is an indispensable solution for the logistics of lightweight but bulky goods, where load stabilisation is key. The metal mesh is significantly more durable than wood, eliminating the problem of frequent repairs and the replacement of damaged packaging, ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation.
Durable construction and tool-free assembly
The offered pallet extension is based on a solid skeleton made of steel tubes, filled with welded mesh. The 3.8 mm thick wire, forming 100×50 mm mesh openings, guarantees appropriate rigidity of the side walls and secures the goods against falling out. Despite its large dimensions, mounting the cage on the pallet is extremely simple and is performed without the use of any tools. This system allows for the rapid preparation of the carrier for loading and its quick disassembly after the transport cycle is complete.
Work ergonomics and space-saving
The OC 1800 model is equipped with functional solutions that facilitate daily warehouse work. The front wall features a hinged window (flap), which enables convenient access to goods located at the bottom of the cage without the need to remove it. The design is adapted for safe stacking in a 1+3 arrangement, allowing the full height of the warehouse hall to be utilised. When not in use, the pallet extension can be folded flat, saving valuable space during the storage of empty packaging and reducing return transport costs.
