Technical parameters and construction of the NTK 1100 model

Unlike the heavy-duty models in the HD series, the NTK 1100 self-tipping skip has been designed with versatility and operational economy in mind. The entire structure (both the hopper and the base) is made of 2mm thick steel plate. This has achieved a low unladen weight for the container – just 157 kg – while maintaining high rigidity.

Functionality: Pressure plate and cable operation

Warehouse efficiency depends on the speed of unloading. Therefore, the NTK 1100 self-tipping skip is equipped with a dual lock-release system that ensures maximum operator comfort:

1. Front Pressure Plate (Automatic): This mechanism allows for hands-free discharge. Simply press the pressure plate (located at the front of the skip) against the edge of the target container to release the lock and empty the contents.

2. Lever with cable mounting option: This is a key feature of this model. The lever located on the rear wall has a handle to which a cable can be attached. This allows the operator to pull the cable from the cab, unlocking the mechanism even when the container is raised high on the mast. This ensures safety and eliminates the need to leave the vehicle.

Once empty, the tank automatically returns to the horizontal position and locks into place.

Durability and aesthetics – Polyurethane coating

Every NTK 1100 self-tipping skip is protected against corrosion by spray-painting with polyurethane paint. This coating is characterised by high resistance to weather conditions, moisture, and chemicals. Additionally, polyurethane creates a smooth, glass-like surface, which significantly facilitates cleaning – waste does not adhere to the walls, and the tank is easy to maintain in a hygienic condition.
