FAQ
When will my order be processed?
Orders are processed within 2–3 business days, provided that the items are in stock. Otherwise, the processing time may be extended to between 5 and 15 business days. The store owner reserves the right to postpone the processing period due to circumstances beyond the seller’s control. In such cases, the customer will be notified of the exact shipping date no later than the end of the initial processing period.
What conditions must I meet to receive the goods within the specified timeframe?
For orders with bank transfer selected as the payment method, the full amount must be credited to the bank account of the store owner, WIM Michał Olejarz. The standard shipping cost is 300 PLN net. For oversized products, this price is subject to change and may reach up to 500 PLN net per unit.
When will the goods be shipped to me?
Placing an order on the steel-containers.com online store and selecting a payment method are the primary conditions for delivery. Shipping and transport take place exclusively on business days, from Monday to Friday.
What payment methods are available at steel-containers?
We provide our customers with a variety of payment options. Customers can opt for a traditional bank transfer, receiving all the necessary account details to complete the payment. Additionally, we use the Przelewy24 platform, which enables fast and secure online payments.
Customers also have the option of cash on delivery (COD), paying at the moment the ordered goods are delivered. Another available method is payment based on a pro forma invoice, offering flexibility by allowing customers to pay according to the provided billing details. Through this range of available methods, Steel Containers aims to ensure both convenience and security throughout the transaction process.
What if the goods arrive damaged?
If the packaging shows significant damage, signs of tampering, etc., you should refuse to accept the delivery and notify the store immediately. Alternatively, if damage is discovered upon receipt, a damage report must be completed in the presence of the courier.
Should the driver not have the appropriate form, a manual statement can be written on a plain sheet of paper, describing the incident and the extent of the damage. It is essential that the report is detailed, legible, and clearly describes how the shipment was damaged by the courier company.
Please note that having a damage report does not guarantee that a claim will be accepted; therefore, describing the condition of the package accurately is vital. The report must state that the external packaging was damaged and include even the smallest scratches or dents. Marking that the external packaging was undamaged precludes a positive resolution of the claim by the courier company.
What is the timeframe for returns starting from the receipt of the package?
A customer who is a consumer within the meaning of Article 22 [1] of the Civil Code is entitled by law to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason. To exercise this right, a relevant written statement must be submitted within 14 business days.
