The collapsible Gitterbox with a steel floor is a modern transport and storage container, serving as a fully metal alternative to classic cages with wooden bases. Constructed from solid steel profiles and durable wire mesh, it ensures maximum protection and stability for transported loads. The use of a uniform metal base instead of wooden boards increases the cage’s resistance to mechanical damage and moisture, while making it easier to keep clean—a crucial factor in many industrial sectors. Thanks to the wall-folding function, unused containers occupy a minimum amount of space, reducing return transport costs.

Convenient access and logistical handling

The cage design focuses on ergonomic use. The front wall features a functional hinged flap that opens at half-height (from both the bottom and the top). This allows for easy loading and unloading of goods without the need for deep bending. High feet are integrated into the container’s base, making the collapsible Gitterbox compatible not only with forklifts but also with standard manual pallet trucks (“pump trucks”), significantly improving manoeuvrability within the warehouse.

Safe stacking and durability

This model is ideal for block storage systems. Special locators (corners) are placed on the upper part of the frame to stabilise the cages when stacked on top of each other. Thanks to this solution, the containers can be safely stacked in a 1+3 arrangement, optimally utilising the warehouse hall’s height. The solid, all-steel construction guarantees a long service life for the carrier, even under intensive use.
