Description
The PMD 1500 drop-bottom container is a powerful industrial vessel with a capacity of 1,500 litres, created for the toughest logistical tasks. It is a dedicated solution for plants that require the transport of large quantities of waste or raw materials and need maximum flexibility in terms of handling equipment – from forklifts to overhead cranes.
Versatility: Crane, Forklift, Pallet Truck
The PMD 1500 model stands out on the market due to its unique design, which enables handling in three ways, eliminating internal logistical barriers:
-
Crane/Hoist transport: Thanks to robust lifting eyes and transport handles welded to the upper section, the container can be safely lifted and moved overhead.
-
Forklift operation: A stable base with pockets ensures safe transport by forklift.
-
Pallet truck compatibility: The special base design allows for manoeuvring the container (on smooth surfaces) using a manual pallet truck.
Industrial durability for 1,500 litres
With such a high capacity, robust workmanship is crucial. The bin is made of 3mm steel plate, and its side walls have been additionally reinforced with ribbing to prevent deformation under the pressure of heavy loads. The foundation of the structure is a base made of flat bars and steel plate with a thickness ranging from 3mm to 8mm. This design guarantees that the container will withstand the transport of heavy scrap, rubble, or bulk materials.
Efficient bottom-discharge system
The container is equipped with a drop bottom, allowing for the instantaneous emptying of the entire contents (1.5 m³) directly into a collection skip or hopper. The release mechanism is operated via a lever on the side wall, providing the operator with convenient access and control over the discharge process. The entire unit is protected against corrosion with polyurethane paints, which facilitates maintenance and shields the steel.
Choose the PMD 1500 container if you are looking for maximum capacity combined with crane transport capability.
