Description

The PMDC 1100 drop-bottom container is a robust, high-capacity vessel with a volume of 1,100 litres, built for heavy-duty tasks. 3-in-1 Versatility: Crane, Forklift, Pallet Truck

The PMDC 1100 was designed to eliminate limitations in internal transport. Its unique design allows for handling via three methods:

1. Crane transport: Solid lifting eyes and transport handles are welded into the upper part of the bin, allowing the container to be moved safely overhead (e.g., above production lines).

2. Forklift transport: The stable base ensures a secure grip for the forks.

3. Pallet truck handling: The special design of the feet in the base allows for access and manoeuvring with a standard manual pallet truck.

Reinforced 3 mm / 4 mm construction

With a capacity of 1,100 litres, durability is key. Therefore, the side walls of this model are made of 3 mm thick steel plate, and the base – which bears the greatest loads – is made of 4 mm steel. The top edge features additional peripheral reinforcement, which stiffens the entire structure and protects it against deformation. As a result, the container is excellent at handling heavy scrap, castings, or rubble.

Functionality and protection

The drop-bottom system enables the instantaneous emptying of the entire tank contents (1.1 m³). The mechanism is released manually via a convenient lever located on the side of the container. The entire unit is coated with a paint system (primer + polyurethane paint), which creates a smooth, easy-to-clean finish that effectively protects the steel against corrosion and chemical agents.
