Description

The PCS gas cylinder container is a specialised transport cage designed to eliminate the risks associated with moving gas cylinders in industrial plants. It combines a robust construction with ergonomic solutions that facilitate operators’ work and guarantee full cargo safety.

Ergonomics: Ramp and safety arm

The greatest advantage of the PCS model is its well-thought-out loading system. On the side of the container, there is a hinged flap which, when opened, serves as a loading ramp. This allows workers to safely roll heavy cylinders inside without the need for lifting. Additionally, a movable arm is mounted in the upper part, serving a dual function: it facilitates access during loading and, once closed, stabilises the cylinders, protecting them from tipping over during transport.

Solid and safe base

The cage’s construction is based on high-strength steel profiles. The floor is made of 3 mm thick chequered plate. The tear-drop pattern provides anti-slip properties, which is crucial for cylinder stability, while the thickness of the plate guarantees resistance to mechanical damage during frequent use.

Versatile logistics and storage

The PCS container offers full freedom in choosing the internal transport method:

1. Forklift and pallet truck: The base design allows for fork access from all sides.

2. Crane/Hoist: The upper part features certified lifting eyes for work with slings.

The container has been designed with space-saving in mind – empty cages or cages filled with empty cylinders can be safely stacked in a 1+2 arrangement. The entire unit is coated with primer and polyurethane paints, providing excellent anti-corrosion protection.
