The NTK HD 1100 self-tipping skip is an advanced solution for companies that need to combine a large loading volume with extreme durability. This model stands out with its massive build, designed for high-load applications. The hopper walls are made of 3mm steel plate, while the base – the load-bearing element of the entire structure – has been reinforced with 4mm thick steel. Despite its large capacity, engineers have managed to maintain optimal proportions. The NTK HD 1100 self-tipping skip has a length of 1,730 mm, a width of 1,420 mm, and a height of 1,165 mm.

The total unladen weight of the container is 189 kg, which testifies to the quantity and quality of the steel used. The top edge features additional wrap-around reinforcement, which stiffens the structure and protects the walls from bending during mechanical loading.

Dual discharge mechanism – Comfort and Safety

To maximise warehouse efficiency, the NTK HD 1100 self-tipping skip is equipped with two independent emptying systems:

1. Front Pressure Plate (Automatic mode): Allows for discharge without leaving the forklift cab. The operator presses the pressure plate (located at the front of the skip) against the edge of a waste container, which releases the lock and initiates the tilt.

2. Manual Lever (Manual mode): A lever located on the rear wall (on the forklift carriage side) allows for manual release of the tipping mechanism. This is indispensable for the precise dosing of material.

The system has been designed with ergonomics in mind – after emptying, thanks to proper balancing, the empty container automatically returns to a horizontal position and snaps into the lock.

Why choose a polyurethane coating?

The durability of the HD 1100 model is enhanced by spray-painting with polyurethane paint. Unlike standard anti-corrosion protection, polyurethane creates a hard, glass-like coating. It is highly resistant to mechanical damage, as well as to the effects of oils and greases. The smooth surface facilitates cleaning (“easy-clean”) and prevents wet waste from adhering to the walls.
