NTK HD 600 Self-Tipping Skip

The NTK HD 600 self-dumping skip is the smallest model in our reinforced Heavy Duty series, designed for tasks requiring durability in a compact size. Despite its modest 600-liter capacity, this container offers a powerful payload of up to 1000 kg. It is an ideal solution for workshops, foundries, and metalworking plants where heavy scrap (such as castings, bolts, steel offcuts) must be transported through narrow aisles inaccessible to larger containers.

What sets this model apart from the competition is the use of industrial-grade materials in such a small container. The NTK HD 600 self-dumping skip features walls made from 3 mm thick steel, while its base – the most vulnerable element – has been reinforced with 4 mm thick steel.

This ensures the unit remains rigid and resistant to mechanical damage even during intensive daily use. The external dimensions (Length: 1580 mm, Height: 1140 mm, Width: 1210 mm) and an unladen weight of 175 kg provide excellent stability during forklift transport.

Leak-tightness and Resistance to Harsh Conditions

Like larger models in the HD series, the NTK HD 600 self-dumping skip is double-welded. The use of continuous weld seams ensures 100% leak-tightness. This makes the container an excellent tool for collecting:

• Oily swarf directly from CNC machines,

• Sludge and liquid waste,

• Hot production waste (thanks to the thick steel),

• Heavy, fine scrap.

The upper edge of the container features additional reinforcement, which stiffens the entire structure and prevents side deformation from impacts or heavy loads.

Dual Discharge Mechanism – Ergonomics in a Compact Format

Despite its compact size, we have not compromised on full functionality. The skip is equipped with two independent emptying systems:

1. Front Trip Mechanism (Automatic System): The operator approaches the collection container and presses the trip mechanism (button on the front of the skip) against its edge. The lock is released, and the skip tips, without the need to exit the forklift.

2. Manual Lever (Manual System): A lever located on the rear wall allows for manual release of the mechanism. This is useful for precisely emptying contents in non-standard locations.

After emptying, thanks to its balanced center of gravity, the NTK HD 600 self-dumping skip automatically returns to its initial position and locks, ready for re-loading.

Polyurethane Protection – An Investment in Durability

To ensure a long lifespan, the container’s surface is spray-painted with polyurethane paint. This coating is significantly more resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion, and aggressive chemicals (oils, coolants) than conventional paints. Additionally, the smooth polyurethane structure facilitates cleaning – dirt does not adhere to the walls, which is crucial when transporting wet waste.
