The PMPN model metal stillage is a specialised, open version of a classic storage container, designed for tasks where full walls are unnecessary or undesirable. This unique yet highly deliberate post construction is widely used for transporting non-standard sized components and goods requiring easy access from all sides. Despite the lack of side enclosures, the product is characterised by exceptional stability and rigidity, making it a reliable carrier in harsh industrial conditions.

Heavy-duty base and open design

The foundation of this model is a reinforced base made of thick 4 mm sheet metal, which guarantees immense resistance to both point and distributed loads. Four solid posts are set into the corners of the platform, securing the load and defining the pallet’s outline. This open design makes the stillage lighter than enclosed counterparts, while simultaneously ensuring air circulation and facilitating the securing of unusual loads with transport straps.

Versatility in transport: Crane and forklift

The PMPN model has been designed for maximum logistical flexibility. The base construction features appropriately profiled feet, allowing the pallet to be handled by both forklifts and manual pallet trucks (“pump trucks”). Furthermore, the corner posts are equipped with special holes and corners (“stacking pockets”) that enable transport by crane or overhead hoist using slings. This system also allows for the safe stacking of pallets in a 1+2 arrangement, enabling efficient vertical management of warehouse space.
