Description

The MZ 890 pallet extension is a spacious wire mesh cage with a high-profile design, dedicated to fitting wooden and metal pallets of the standard 1200×800 mm (Euro) dimension. Thanks to the increased wall height, this model allows for the efficient storage and transport of high-volume or bulky goods, serving as an excellent alternative to non-durable wooden extensions or cardboard boxes.

Durability and product protection

The cage’s construction is based on a robust frame made of steel tubes and a 3.8 mm thick wire infill, welded into a 100×50 mm mesh. This structure ensures load rigidity and stability, protecting it from falling out or damage. The open mesh structure guarantees full visibility of the contents, facilitating inventory checks without the need to approach each pallet individually.

Ergonomics at increased height

With taller extensions, access to the bottom of the container is crucial. The MZ 890 model is equipped with a hinged flap (half-window) on the front wall. This gives the operator free access to low-positioned goods, even when the extensions are stacked. The system allows for safe stacking in a 1+3 arrangement, tripling the storage area on the same floor space.

Mobility and space-saving

The extension is a highly flexible solution. Its foldable design allows the cage to be collapsed flat instantaneously when not in use, generating significant space savings in the warehouse and during return transport. Assembly on the pallet is simple, intuitive, and requires no tools – the extension sits securely on the pallet edges.
