Description
The OC 890 pallet extension is a universal wire mesh cage that allows for the quick and economical conversion of a standard 1200×800 mm pallet into a stable storage container. It is an ideal solution for the safe transport and storage of goods, protecting the load from spilling, crushing, or theft. Compared to traditional wooden extensions, the metal construction features significantly higher durability and resistance to mechanical damage, resulting in a long period of trouble-free use in intensive logistical cycles.
Robust construction and tool-free assembly
The offered pallet extension is based on a solid frame made of steel tubes and a welded mesh infill. The 3.8 mm thick wire forms 100×50 mm mesh openings, providing high wall rigidity and good visibility of the contents. A major advantage of this model is its ease of use – assembly and disassembly on the pallet are performed entirely without tools. This allows for the instantaneous adaptation of carriers to current warehouse needs, saving employees’ time.
Functionality: access to goods and folding
The OC 890 model was designed with ergonomics and space-saving in mind. The front wall is equipped with a hinged window (flap), which provides convenient access to stored materials without the need to remove the extension from the stack – a crucial feature during order picking. The design allows for safe stacking in a 1+3 arrangement, maximising the use of the hall’s height. When the pallet extension is not in use, it can be folded flat, drastically reducing the space occupied and lowering the costs of storing empty packaging.
