Description

The PMK 5000 drop-front container is a true titan in the field of waste management – the largest vessel in the PMK series with an impressive capacity of 5,000 litres (5 m³). It is a unique hybrid solution, combining the functionality of a traditional hopper with the mechanics of a drop-bottom container, created to handle massive amounts of waste in heavy industry.

Innovative discharge system

The PMK 5000 model stands out due to its unconventional emptying method, designed to increase efficiency with such a large volume. Discharge occurs through the front wall, which opens from the bottom. The operator safely controls the process using a manual lever located at the rear of the bin. To ensure stability during the discharge of 5 cubic metres of load, the container is equipped with a steel cable connecting the body to the base – this limits the tilt angle, preventing the unit from tipping over.

Construction for extreme tasks

With a capacity of 5,000 litres, structural durability is a priority. The tank is manufactured from 3-4 mm thick steel plate, but its true strength lies in its skeleton – steel profile reinforcements are located on every side. This creates a “cage” resistant to the immense bursting stresses generated by heavy loads (e.g., scrap, rubble, post-production waste). The base is equipped with feet that isolate the bottom from ground moisture and facilitate forklift operation.

Safety procedure

Operating such a large container requires precise safety measures. The front wall is locked by a system consisting of a flat bar, a rod, and two lower locks. Before starting the discharge, it is necessary to manually release the locks located at the front. This solution protects against the uncontrolled opening of the front flap during transport by forklift, ensuring full safety for the crew and equipment.

Choose the PMK 5000 container if you need the largest available capacity and armoured durability for tasks that standard hoppers cannot handle.
