Description
The PMUC 500 self-tipping skip is an industrial container with increased capacity that retains the key advantage of the PMUC series – a low profile. It is a solution dedicated to production plants that generate larger amounts of waste but have limited space under machine outlets. It is ideal for collecting swarf, scrap, and coolant-soaked waste directly from CNC machines.
Durability and weld tightness
The construction of the skip has been designed to work with heavy loads. The hopper section is made of 3mm steel plate, while the base is reinforced with 5mm steel. A key advantage of the model is the double-sided welding, which ensures 100% leak-proof integrity. As a result, the container is perfectly suited for transporting wet and oily waste, eliminating the risk of leaks onto the floor. The top edge features additional peripheral reinforcement, protecting the container from mechanical deformation.
Ergonomics and discharge system
Despite its solid build and larger volume, the PMUC 500 is characterised by its low height, allowing it to be easily placed under low conveyors and industrial equipment. The hopper is emptied using a lever located on the rear wall. This mechanism is equipped with a safety lock that protects against uncontrolled tilting of the skip during transport by forklift.
Finishing and maintenance
The entire unit is covered with an anti-corrosion system consisting of a primer and a polyurethane topcoat. Such a coating is not only durable but also creates a smooth structure that prevents waste from sticking and significantly facilitates the daily cleaning of the container.
Choose the PMUC 500 skip to combine high load capacity with the ability to work in low-clearance workspaces.
