The TK 2200 is the largest universal self-tipping skip in the series, engineered for transporting massive volumes of material using a forklift. This solution is dedicated to large manufacturing plants, sawmills, and recycling facilities, where reducing the number of forklift trips through high load capacity is key to operational efficiency.

For containers of such high volume, structural integrity is the top priority. The TK 2200 is designed to safely handle heavy loads:

• Armoured Base: The most critical structural element—the base—is manufactured from reinforced 4mm steel plate.

• Rigid Hopper: The 3mm steel loading section features an extensive reinforcement system to prevent wall deformation even when fully loaded with heavy materials like scrap or rubble.

Efficient Dual-Mode Discharge System

Emptying such a large container must be simple and safe. The TK 2200 offers two operational modes:

1. Automatic (Front Pressure Plate): The operator presses the front plate against the edge of a larger container, releasing the lock and initiating the tilt. This mechanism utilises the forklift’s power, requiring no physical effort from the operator.

2. Manual (Lever): A lever at the rear of the base allows for manual release, which is ideal for precise emptying in non-standard locations.

Transport Safety

Handling large-scale loads requires advanced security systems. The TK 2200 is equipped with:

• Securing Foot: Located at the left fork pocket, this foot physically locks the skip onto the forks, preventing it from sliding off during manoeuvres.

• Tilt Lock: A robust mechanism at the rear of the base guarantees that the hopper will not open accidentally while transporting across uneven surfaces.

Corrosion Resistance (Indoor & Outdoor)

The TK 2200 is fully adapted for year-round outdoor use:

• Professional Finish: Wet-painting with primer and polyurethane topcoat creates a thick, sealed barrier resistant to rain, snow, and UV radiation.
