The TK 4000 is the largest self-tipping skip in the series, designed for enterprises that refuse to compromise on efficiency. This ultra-high-capacity container is dedicated to handling massive waste streams in heavy industry, shipbuilding, large sawmills, and recycling centres. It allows for a drastic reduction in forklift trip frequency, generating significant savings in both time and fuel.

Construction for Extreme Loading

Given the scale of the TK 4000, material durability is paramount. Our engineers have ensured the container can withstand the immense weight of its load:

• Reinforced Base (4mm): The entire weight of the load rests on a base manufactured from 4mm steel plate. This ensures structural rigidity and protects the floor from deformation.

• Solid Hopper (3mm): The 3mm steel walls are enhanced with a strategic reinforcement system that maintains the container’s geometry even when fully loaded with heavy materials.

Maintenance-Free Discharge System (Dual-Mode)

Emptying a container of this size requires operator-assist solutions. The TK 4000 offers two modes:

1. Automatic Mode (Pressure Plate): Using the front pressure plate, the operator can empty the skip without leaving the forklift cab. Pressing the plate against the edge of the receiving container releases the lock, and the balanced skip performs the tilt.

2. Manual Mode (Lever): A lever at the rear of the base allows for manual release of the lock, essential for non-standard conditions (e.g., discharging onto stockpiles).

Maximum Operational Safety

Transporting such a large load involves significant kinetic energy. The TK 4000 features essential safety systems:

• Anti-Slip Locking Foot: Located at the left fork pocket, this foot physically locks the container onto the forks, preventing it from sliding off during braking or manoeuvring.

• Transport Bolt: A robust lock at the rear of the base guarantees that the hopper will not tilt accidentally while being transported over uneven surfaces.

Weather & Industrial Resistance

The TK 4000 is fully equipped for outdoor operation:

• Polyurethane Protection: Containers are “wet-painted” with a primer and a polyurethane topcoat. This creates a thick, flexible shield resistant to impacts, rain, snow, and UV radiation.

• Easy Cleaning: The smooth internal surface prevents waste from adhering and facilitates easy washing (e.g., with a pressure washer).
