The TKO self-tipping skip is an advanced version of the classic forklift container, enhanced with a highly functional modification: a drop-down front wall. This solution revolutionises workplace ergonomics, allowing for easy material loading from ground level—perfect for wheelbarrow access or manual loading of heavy items without excessive lifting.

The standout feature of the TKO series is the front gate, which can be easily lowered to create a loading ramp or an open workspace.

• Locking System: In the closed position, the wall is secured by robust latches on both sides, ensuring the gate remains firmly shut during transport.

• Versatility: An ideal solution for construction sites, carpentry workshops, and warehouses where waste is often delivered via wheelbarrows or hand trucks.

Robust & Sealed Construction

Just like our standard models, the TKO series prioritises uncompromising durability:

• Heavy-Duty Steel: The hopper is made from 3mm steel plate, while the supporting base is reinforced with 4mm steel.

• Leak-Proof Main Body: The body features double-sided welding, providing exceptional structural strength and ensuring the main basin remains leak-proof (when the gate is closed).

• Reinforcements: Additional ribbing ensures the container resists deformation even under intensive industrial use.

Dual Discharge System (Operator Comfort)

Despite the front-wall modification, the TKO maintains full self-tipping functionality with two operational modes:

1. Automatic Mode (Pressure Plate): The operator presses the pressure plate at the front of the base against the edge of a larger skip to release the lock and tilt the container without leaving the forklift.

2. Manual Mode (Lever/Cable): The release lever can be operated manually from the ground or remotely via a steel cable from the forklift cab.

Transport Safety

• Locking foot: A special safety device on the forklift pocket prevents the forklift from accidentally slipping off the forks (e.g. when braking).

• Tilt lock: The locking mechanism prevents uncontrolled tilting of the tank while driving.
