Description
The wheel dolly for a damaged wheel, model HOL 13KR, is a specialized transport device with increased load capacity, designed for handling the heaviest vehicles in roadside emergency situations. The product is widely used by professional roadside assistance companies, body shops, and automotive service centers, serving as an essential tool for loading and unloading vehicles with damaged suspension onto recovery trucks or transport platforms.
The key distinguishing feature of this model is its exceptionally robust frame construction, manufactured entirely from 5 mm thick steel plate. This ensures the rigidity required to carry extreme loads without the risk of material deformation. The entire unit is hot-dip galvanized, providing effective and long-term protection against corrosion, moisture, and road salt. The most important technical parameter of the HOL 13KR dolly is its vertical load capacity of up to 2,500 kg. As a result, it is suitable not only for passenger cars, but primarily for buses, vans, SUVs, and heavy commercial vehicles.
Mobility is provided by a running system consisting of nine steel rollers on each side, mounted on a reinforced, bearing-supported shaft. The rollers have a diameter of 13.3 cm, which is significantly larger than in standard solutions and translates into easier overcoming of rolling resistance and surface irregularities.
The device is characterized by a high level of versatility. The specially designed cradle allows the dolly to be safely positioned not only under a damaged wheel, but also directly under suspension components, the sill, engine, control arm, or subframe of the vehicle. The dimensions of the HOL 13KR model have been precisely selected to meet the requirements of modern vehicle logistics. The total length of the dolly including the pulling handle is 73 cm, and its width is 33 cm. The loading cradle, with a length of 38 cm, is positioned 9 cm above the ground, enabling use with low-clearance vehicles. An important practical feature is the maintained 6 cm ground clearance between the surface and the lower frame, which effectively prevents the dolly from catching or snagging when driving onto tow-truck ramps and car transporters.
